About us

Real Power Solutions, LLC (RPS) was founded on development of novel technologies intended to provide solutions to common problems.  Our approach is simple elegance in design and use of robust and reliable processes and equipment.

Our goal is to provide a valuable contribution to mankind through analysis of systemic environmental problems and development of solutions to those problems.

Our approach is through our novel IP, protected by U.S. Patent #10,859,256. Which is our method and system utilizing waste heat for evaporation.


Mark Barteaux

Mark Barteaux is a founding member and managing member of Real Power Solutions. Mr. Barteaux is a US Navy veteran. While in the service, Mark attended Naval Nuclear Power School and became a Qualified Reactor Operator. Mark gained a wealth of experience in power generation and mechanical systems in the Navy, also serving as an instructor of nuclear power plant theory and power plant operation. Mark has owned and been involved with numerous companies through the years.  These companies have been engaged in market segments such as power generation, heavy construction, and industrial processes.


Toby Prehn

Toby Prehn is a founding member and managing member of Real Power Solutions. Mr. Prehn received a BS in Business Administration from the University of California at Berkeley. Toby currently owns companies in the manufacturing, construction, hospitality, multi-family housing, and finance industries. He was honored to have consulted with the Senate Finance Committee, Federal Reserve, and Treasury Department on TARP and EESA programs. Additionally he serves as a member of the Board of Directors for the J.A. & Kathryn Albertson Foundation, a member of the Board of Directors for AgriBeef, and a Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Bluum Foundation. Toby is our primary strategic planner and is involved in the day to day operation of the business.

 

Rodney Jones

Rodney Jones is a founding member and managing member of Real Power Solutions. Mr. Jones holds a Business Administration degree from the University of Kentucky and a Law Degree from Emory University in Atlanta. Rod is actively involved in the day to day management of the business and strategic planning for future opportunities. Rod has worked as a senior manager of business grossing as much as two billion dollars per year.

Peter Wachtell

Peter Wachtell is a founding member and managing member of Real Power Solutions. Mr. Wachtell has been one of the pioneers of the asset-backed and commercial mortgage backed securitization industry since 1985, creating lending companies that have issued some of the first ever securitization financings in automobile leases, private jet aircraft loans, food service franchise loans, small business loans (Non-SBA), and more.

In addition, Peter and his partners have founded several other businesses in areas as diverse as medical software, population health management, industrial insulation products and renewable energy production. All businesses have a commonality in that they use data from various sources to drive their competitive edge relative to their competitors.

In the last decade, Peter Wachtell has been focusing his data analytics and data use infrastructure to drive improvements in patient outcomes, equality of care and cost reduction throughout the medical system in New Zealand. He and his partners work closely with the Ministry of Health, regional District Health Boards, Primary Health Organizations, Pharmacies and several New Zealand Government agencies to create programs that provide transparent and measurable improvements through population health initiatives.
